Vor ein paar Wochen bekam ich die Möglichkeit, das Wandbild von Saal Digital zu testen. Dazu musste ich zunächst die Saal-Software installieren. Der Prozess der Gestaltung des Wandbildes war kinderleicht, vor allem da die Software einen sehr gut führt. Ich entschied mich dann für ein 45x30cm Alu-Dibond Wandbild mit Standardaufhängung. Danach folgte die Qual der Wahl, welches meiner Bilder gedruckt werden sollte. Nachdem ich mich dann entschieden hatte, war das "designen" des Wandbildes sehr leicht, die Software ist in diesem Hinblick super! Mit Hilfe der Software kann man auch direkt Kollagen erstellen oder vorgefertigte Designvorschläge von Saal selbst nutzen. Ich hingegen war mit meinem Bild an sich zufrieden und habe daher auf diese Möglichkeiten verzichtet. Aus der Software heraus kann man dann das gewünschte Produkt direkt in den Warenkorb legen und bestellen, auch hier wieder alles sehr einfach gestaltet. Die Lieferdauer wurde initial mit einer Woche beziffert, das Bild kam schließlich nach zwei Werktagen an. Das Bild hat eine top Qualität und macht dank des Alu-Dibond Drucks echt was her. Das Aufhängen war ein Kinderspiel. Ich hatte mich initial für die Standardaufhängung entschieden, die im Endeffekt aus zwei Halterungen bestand, die auf die Rückseite des Bildes geklebt werden. Im Anschluss noch zwei Nägel in die Wand und das Bild hängt. Ich bin mit dem Bild und dem gesamten Prozess sehr zufrieden und kann es nur jedem empfehlen, der überlegt, eines oder mehrere seiner Fotos drucken zu lassen.
A few weeks ago I was offered the opportunity to test the wall-picture by Saal Digital. In order to start, I had to install special software to design my product. The process itself was dead simple, especially due to the great guidance by the software. I finally decided to go with the 45x30cm Alu-Dibond Print alongside the standard mounting solution. Once that was done, I had to decide which of my photographs was going to get painted. After I made my choice, the "designing" of the print was done in no time as I wanted to go for a simple full-screen print. With the software it's also possible to add pre-set frames or layer multiple images to create a collage. But since I was happy with my image as it is, I didn't use any of these functionalities. From there you can directly place your items in your cart and proceed directly to checkout, without having to leave the software - the whole user experience is rather easy. I was initially told that the delivery would take one week and was happily surprised when the package arrived after two working days. The print itself is of great quality and looks very neat thanks to the Alu-Dibond print. Mounting it to the wall was a piece of cake. The default mounting solution consists of two mounts that are fitted with adhesive tape and are placed on the back of the print. Put two more nails in the wall and boom, done!
Overall I am very satisfied with both the print and the whole experience with Saal Digital. I can only recommend it to anyone who's thinking about printing some of their work.
